My name is Mara Bautista, and I am a Mexican dentist dedicated to providing dental care and services to low-income communities in Southeast Asian countries.

I currently reside in Cambodia, where I actively work with underserved populations that have limited or no access to dental care due to economic barriers. My approach to dental care begins with education and prevention, as I believe teaching proper oral hygiene habits is essential to long-term health. I also give talks focused on promoting dental care awareness, helping communities understand the importance of oral health.

In addition, I organize and participate in dental clinics that offer basic services such as dental cleanings, tooth extractions, and simple restorations. Through this work, my goal is to restore health and functionality to individuals and communities, improving their overall quality of life where dental care is not easily accessible.
