Hello, My name is Meak Sorn, the head of Coco de Takeo Coconut Handicraft. This handicraft was initiated in 2016 and fully operational in 2018. The location of the handicraft is in Pong Teuk Village.

Our craft has 4 main work areas

Weaving crafts include silk weaving, weaving cloth and scarves from cotton, weaving coconut and banana fibers to produce consumer products and souvenirs, weaving Khmer silk and silk cloth.

- A program to process ripe coconuts into food, utensils, and decorations, etc.

- Food processing programs include the production of coconut candy, cold oil, crisps, and coconut noodles, etc. The creation of work programs is objective.

- Participate in community development by providing employment opportunities to vulnerable women and people with disabilities.

- Create and utilize natural resources to reduce environmental pollution and support the use of local products.

- Create a job that is beneficial to yourself and easy to earn money and not worry too much about competition. In this sense, it is a job that has income and contributes to the development of society by preserving cultural assets such as silk weaving, weaving, etc. Thank you.🙏
